The necessary details are as follows:
Venue: Endeavour Park, Cannon Street, Cairns
Date: May 21st, 2017
Program:
8.00 a.m. – 3:30pm
The Peninsula squad to train at Tiger Park Edge Hill – May 23rd will be named at
3:15 pm. Teams should not plan to depart before 3.15pm.
ALL students who attend these championships MUST have from the Peninsula
School Sport Handbook (ON THE WEBSITE www.peninsulaschoolsport.eq.edu.au )
the following forms photocopied back to back:

them, signed by their Parent & Principal may be sent back to school and

In accepting an Invitation to Compete in a Peninsula School Sport Team, the
student and parents must ensure that other commitments will not affect the
student’s availability and FULL participation in the State Championship Program. **
**
Parents of students selected in District School Sport teams should be
advised of the Peninsula School Sport Compulsory Travel Policy for ALL teams. **
Teams:
Regional Team numbers 14 players and 4 shadows
District Team list (attached) MUST be e-mailed to either Eamonn Gilbert
- [email protected] or Helen Sachlikidis – [email protected] by
May 9th. This list is also necessary for the convenor to send in with
the regional report.
Umpiring: A number of umpires will be available but with both the girls and
boy’s competition combined it’s asked that where possible districts provide
their own umpires.
State Titles: These will be held at Hervey Bay, 27th July – 30th July
Food: Canteen will be available, alternatively, students bring their own
lunches.

The venue will be Endeavour Park, Cannon Street, Cairns

The canteen will be available throughout the day.

The first game commences at 8.00am.

There will be a meeting of district officials at 7.30am.

Boys will use Field ??& the girls will use Field ??

Districts underlined will provide the referee.

Games are 15 minutes halves with a 5min change-over between games. *Games might start
late but must finish on time.

The Peninsula squad will be named at 3pm approx.
