The Lighting/ Special Effects
The Story/ Plot: Do not summarize the story; but tell me what you thought of the story. Could you follow it? Were you
entertained why or why not, etc.?
The Direction; what did you think of the casting? Did the play flow well? How was the blocking? What did you think of the
choices the director made?
The Audience; did they help or hinder the performance? Did they disturb your watching, and if so how?
Each of these must be given with specific examples of instances in the play, to back up your opinion!!!!!
NOTE: Each new topic should be a new paragraph.
The Paper Conclusion (page 3):

Finally you should give your overall opinion of the play in a brief (3-4 sentences) summary at the end of the paper and you
should also use a rating system, either:
0- 5 stars, with 0 stars being awful and 5 stars being outstanding (half stars may also be used in ranking)
Or a ranking of 1-10, with 1 being awful and 10 being outstanding.

Be sure to restate which ranking you used (example “I gave it 3 out of a possible five stars”) and restate the reasons
you gave this ranking to close your paper.

Again you should have consistent examples to back up your overall opinion throughout the paper.
