2
3
4
5
Know what your are saying, and in what order everyone is speaking.
Practice at least twice before you press ‘record’!
Remember these videos will be judged by people who know nothing about
your idea before they watch it, so include all of your ideas and plans!
Keep it professional, concise and to the point!
How can you go that extra mile to make your team stand out?
14
INTRODUCTION
THE CHALLENGE
Live Presentation: what to include
– How have you worked well as a team?
– Have you overcome obstacles
– Differences of opinion?
– How did you choose your final idea?
– How did you divide the work load?
– What could you improve on next time?
– Why should YOUR team win?
TOP TIPS FOR PRESENTING
1
2
3
4
5
Have notes to help you remember what you are saying.
Every team member should say at least one thing.
Be aware of fidgeting, slouching and folding arms - you look less
professional if you do this.
Speak clearly, don’t rush (this is hard!!) and remember to breathe!
Support your team during practice and the real thing by listening attentively
while they are speaking.

INTRODUCTION
THE CHALLENGE
AND FINALLY…
– Keep the prize in mind! Sell your idea!
– Don’t think you can’t be professional just
because you don’t ‘feel’ confident.
– Practice, practice, practice!

written well in advance”
