Payment MUST accompany this form in order to reserve space at any park or facility. A State Banquet Permit may also be required. If alcohol is served without approval,
you will forfeit your damage deposit or will be charged an additional fee. If items will be sold, a Snoqualmie Business License must be presented to the Parks & Recreation

HOLD HARMLESS STIPULATION: Permittee covenants and agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the City, its officers, agents and employees from any and
all claims actions, damages, liability, cost and expense, including reasonable attorney’s fees in connection with or occasioned, in whole or in part by any act or omission of
Permittee, its officers , agents, employees, customers or licenses, or arising from or out of Permittee’s failure to comply with any provision of the Special Event Permit
granted as a result of this application, regardless of whether it is alleged or proven that the acts or omissions of the City, its officers, agents or employees caused or
contributed hereto.

City of Snoqualmie Parks & Recreation Rental Procedures and Rules
RESERVATIONS ARE TAKEN ON A FIRST-PAID, FIRST-SERVED BASIS.
Residents may apply one (1) year and non-residents may apply eight(8) months prior to the event.
All applicable fees are due at the time of application.
RESERVATION PROCEDURE
All applicants must complete a Park/Ballfield application form. Applications are subject to approval and are accepted
Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. Your reservation provides you exclusive use of the park/ballfield during the
scheduled time on your permit. We STRONGLY recommend that you have your permit with you during your schedule use.
ALL RESERVATIONS MUST BE APPROVED AND ARE SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY.
NOTE: Parks are open to the public and cannot be denied access. Your reservation is exclusive to any picnic
shelters, picnic tables within the shelter and pad area surrounding the shelter.
BALLFIELD PRIORITY SYSTEM
When scheduling ballfields, the City of Snoqualmie Parks & Recreation Department takes the following into consideration:
1. City of Snoqualmie sponsored activities
2. Snoqualmie Valley Youth Organizations
3. Snoqualmie Valley Adult Organizations
4. Snoqualmie Valley School District
5. Other Youth Organizations
6. Other Adult Organizations
The following considerations will be made when allocating field time:
1. A field’s configuration and size will determine the age group scheduled
2. Highest quality fields will be reserved for game use during peak season
3. The number of teams requesting use
4. A league’s geographical location and/or boundaries where practical
5. Historical use of the field will be used but does not guarantee use the following year; if demand and demographics
change
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations must be made at least fourteen (14) days prior to the event in order to receive a full refund (Less $10
processing fee).
Picnic Shelters/Gazebos – No refunds will be given for inclement weather. The shelter you have reserved is COVERED.
Ballfields – If the field is unplayable due to weather, you have twenty-four (24) hours after your scheduled event to notify the
Parks & Recreation Director to obtain a credit/refund.
Note: All cancellations must be made in person. You must bring your permit to the Parks & recreation Department (located
at 38194 SE Stearns Rd-behind the wastewater treatment plant in Snoqualmie) Monday - Friday between 7:00 am and 4:00
pm. NO EXCEPTIONS!
POLICIES & PROCEDURES – All patrons must follow the policies and procedures.
1. Open fires/burning and fireworks are PROHIBITED.
2. Fires are only allowed in designated stoves/pits.
3. Alcoholic beverages, including unopened containers, are not permitted on City property (except Special Event
Permits).
4. Smoking is not allowed on athletic fields (SMC 12.12.30).
5. Use of facilities, which do not provide lighting, ends at dusk.

6. Any event requiring additional parking or crowd control will be the responsibility of the Organization (Special Event
Permit).
7. During periods of inclement weather, parks/ballfields closures may result as determined by the City.
8. Organizations must submit a Certificate of Insurance with the City listed as an additional insured prior to the event.
General liability limits must be at least $100,000.00 (SMC 12.12.080).
9. The City PROHIBITS any cutting, removing or damaging any flower, tree, shrub or defacing/disturbing/destroying
any building or property.
10. Permission from the Parks & Recreation Director is required to operate a concession within a public park/ballfield. A
City Business License is also required.
11. Inflatable jump toys and other objects require prior approval by the Parks & Recreation Director.
12. Please do not place stakes or objects into the ground as it may damage the irrigation system.
13. It is unlawful to dispose of any refuse or litter in any park/ballfield except in designated receptacles. It is also
unlawful to deposit any refuse not generated in any public park/ballfield.
14. In case of problems (vandalism, irrigation system, etc.), contact the Parks & Recreation Department at 425-831-5784
or 425-888-3333 for the Police Department.
15. One (1) dollar from each practice, game, event/camp and tournament rental shall go to the Parks Reserve Fund for
maintenance improvements.
MAINTENANCE GUIDELINES – it is YOUR responsibility to clean up after your event!
1. All facility maintenance shall be performed by Department staff unless written authorization has been approved.
2. Teams shall not be allowed to warm up or take the field while maintenance crews are working.
3. Fields will not be prepped for practices.
4. Fields are prepped for the first game only – additional fees are charged for additional games.
5. Bases will be provided. PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE THEM.
6. No unauthorized vehicles are allowed on the fields.
7. Please do not dig ditches or apply foreign materials to fields in an attempt to dry-out field. Vandalism fines will be
charged (SMC 12.12.120).
8. Do not make any modifications to any facility.
9. Please do not throw, hit or climb cyclone fencing or backstop.
10. Portable fencing will not be allowed without written permission from the Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. It is the responsibility of the City of Snoqualmie to give a copy of the Policies & Procedures to each Organization
applying for usage; to administer these policies & procedures in a fair and equitable manner; to maintain an accurate
schedule of games and practices and to coordinate these schedules with appropriate staff within the department.
2. It is the responsibility of each Organization to supply the City of Snoqualmie with accurate and truthful information; to
insure that all team coaches, managers and players understand these policies; to insure all referees/umpires
understand these policies and to supply a schedule of games and practices.
INFRACTIONS
No-shows fines, improper trading of field times/fields and/or failing to comply with these policies shall result in the following:
1. You shall be issued one written warning upon the infraction.
2. You shall be charged a fee for the second infraction along with written notification of fees being charged.
3. No-shows are $24/game and $7/practice.
4. Other infractions are $20/infraction.
5. Any individual/team that violates any rule or regulation may be required to leave the facility.
DAMAGE DEPOSIT
Damage deposits are refundable as long as the Park/Ballfield and immediate area is clean after your event and no damage
occurs. Failure to meet these conditions will result in forfeiture of your deposit and may also include the applicant being
responsible for additional charges and forfeiture of future reservation privileges. Please allow 3 – 4 weeks for deposit refund.
SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT
A Special Event Permit is required for any organization that wishes to reserve a park facility for more than an eight (8) hour
period, any event that restricts the public from vehicular use of a street or park space, any event that might effect normal
operations for any City Department, any event that possesses any positive or negative impacts for local businesses or the
City of Snoqualmie or any event in which alcohol will be served or consumed. Special Event Permits require approval of

City Council and therefore should be submitted a minimum of 30 days prior to event. ANY PERMIT SUBMITTED
LESS THAN 30 DAYS PRIOR TO THE EVENT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Note: To be eligible for the Resident rate, you must provide identification that verifies that you live inside the Snoqualmie city
limits. Failure to do so will result in the Non-Resident fee being charged for your event.
