A is for alpine skiing
The first game that alpine skiing

B is for biathlon
Doing biathlon France got in 1st place. France
got a total 6 medals doing biathlon in the
2010 Olympic Winter games.
C is for curling
Curling is for the 2006 Olympic
winter games in Torino. Canada
got a total of 2 medals in curling.
D is for Bryce Davison
Bryce Davison is an athlete that
plays figure skating. His nationality
is Canada and he is 24 years old.
E is for Molly Engstrom
Molly Engstrom is a 26 year old
athlete. She plays ice hockey and
her nationality is United States.
F is for freestyle skiing
The first game for freestyle skiing
is February 13, 2010 at 16:30. The
freestyle skiing game is the Ladies
Moguls Qualification game.
G is for Germany
Germany won a total of 9 medals.

J is for Jamaica in 1998
The Jamaican bobsledding team wanted
to win gold medal, but they didn’t
get to the finish line. They made a
crash when they were riding in the
bobsleigh.
K is for Kazakhstan
In 1998 in Nagano, Kazakhstan got
a medal. They got 1 gold a medal in
speed skating.
L is for luge
Luge played in 1994 in Lillehammer.
All the medals that luge got are a
total of 9 medals.
M is for Ina Meschik
Ina Meschik is a 19 year old athlete.
Her date of birth is September 25,
1990, and her nationality is Austria.
N is for Norway
Norway won the most medals
together in all the sports and
all the Winter Olympic games
the most medals. They won a
total of 280 medals.
O is for Isabell Ost
Isabell does the sport speed
skating. The date of her birth
is October 21, 1988 and her
nationality is Germany.
P is Lake Placid
In 1980 in Lake Placid was the Olympic
Winter games. The German Dem
Republic got the most medals
Q is for Quachi
Quachi is an Olympic mascot. He is big and
brown, and he likes the colour chill blue.
R is for Stefan Read
Stefan’s nationality is Canada, and he
does the sport ski jumping. He
was born in May 7, 1987, and
now he is 22 years old.
S is for Switzerland
Switzerland got in 2nd place in the
Olympic Winter games in 2006 in Torino.
Switzerland did the skeleton and
won a total of 2 medals.
T is for the torch
The torch has a flame coming out
of the top. The torch has
already been through many cities
in Canada. Also many people came
out to see it.
U is for United States
Together in all of the Winter Olympic
games and sports, United States got
a total of 216 medals. United States
got 79 gold medals, 80 silver, and 58
bronze medals.
V is for Vancouver, B.C.
Vancouver is the place were the 2010
Olympic Winter games are held. Lot’s
of different other countries come
together to watch and cheer.
W is for With Glowing Hearts
The words With Glowing Hearts is
the 2010 Olympic motto. These words
are also in the song O Canada!
X is for Mengtao Xu
Mengtao is an athlete that
is 19 years old. The sport she plays
is free-style skiing and her
nationality is China.
Y is for Nataliia Yakushenko
Nataliia is an athlete that does
the sport luge. Her nationality is
Ukraine, and she is 38 years old.
Z is for Tatjana Zavalij
Tatjana is a 28 year old athlete.
Her nationality is Ukraine, and
she plays the sport cross-country
skiing.
