GUAPO’s Gives Overview
Thanks so much for your interest in our GUAPO’s Gives program. GUAPO’s Gives is based on
the belief that a commitment to our community is just as important as important as a
commitment to cooking real food with scratch-made ingredients! Being a good neighbor is
not just a part of what we do – it’s who we strive to be!
GUAPO’s Gives was launched in 2012 as a fundraising mechanism partnership with local
non-profits…one that seeks to effect real change through social action and good times had
over great food and drink. To date, we've partnered with a broad range of community
partners, including the Animal Rescue League of Brewster, Cape Abilities, 4 Paws for
Zachary, the local chapter of the Girls Scouts, Latham Centers, Project Graduation, the
Nauset Warriors Boosters Club, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Cod and the Islands and
countless others. Our goal is to raise $25,000 annually and we’re proud to say that we’ve
consistently exceeded that goal! We strive to do one major pre-planned fundraising event
per quarter, and do our best to accommodate smaller events and donation requests that fit
with our community partnership philosophy.
There are a great many worthy non-profits and community groups on Cape Cod all needing
and deserving of support. In order to maximize the effectiveness of the GUAPO’s Gives
program, we seek groups that are true partners in the planning, promotion and execution of
these events. While the baseline for fundraising is the donations received at the door, the
most successful GUAPO’s Gives events have ancillary fundraising mechanisms such as door
prizes, long-term or day-of contests and more – the sky is the limit!

thoughtful attention to each of the many requests we receive and thank you in advance for

What GUAPO’s Provides:






A venue and vehicle to promote your mission. We will provide space in the
restaurant or on the patio in Orleans for your group and additional tables for
collateral materials, raffle items, merchandise for sale, etc.
Light hors d’oeuvres for your guests
Extensive promotional support of your event through Facebook, Twitter, our enewsletter, promotional materials in the restaurant (ex: posters, check presenters)
and public relations
Design of a custom GUAPO’s Gives flyer for your event
Engagements on your social media posts (liking, sharing, commenting)
Collaboration and assistance on planning a great event. We meet with all non-profit
partners to brainstorm ways to make your event exceptional and successful. We
believe in thinking big and being creative!

Staff to collect donations at the door and promote your mission
An event contact to ensure things run smoothly from inception to completion
Promotional support through your social media accounts and other communication
tools
Printed and electronic collateral material (graphic assistance available if needed)
An opportunity for GUAPO’s to review promotional material in advance of release
Distribution of GUAPO’s Gives information to your email database
Engagements on our Social Media posts (liking, sharing, commenting)
