Bingo Training Guide Where to begin… • Bingo is held in both halls, Parish and Barry Hall. • Sign in the service hour log book located in the cash room in Barry Hall. • You will need to wear an apron. They are in a box outside of the cash room. • You will receive a $10 bank, and bingo cards to sell. Floor Rules 1) No eating or drinking 2) Limit all cellphone use 3) Be courteous and limit conversation with other workers 4) Walk around and…Sell! Sell! Sell! Early Bird Bingo • Early Bird Bingo begins at 6:00pm Early Bird Game 1 1. 3 different games 2. $1.00 each • When each game begins… IMPORTANT to bring unsold papers back to cashier room. Early Bird Game 2 Early Bird Game 3 Regular Bingo Games • Regular Bingo begins at 6:30pm and ends approximately at 10:00pm Speedies • Speedies sell for $1.00 a pack. • There are 5 games in a pack . Bonanza’s • Bonanzas are $0.50 for a new one and $0.25 when exchanging old for new or… • 12 new for $5.00 • The old Bonanza’s are returned to the cashier room When you hear “Bingo” • When a patron yells “Bingo” call out “Bingo” and make sure it is heard by the caller. • Then call out the number located on the card. • See photo to the right for an example of where to find these numbers highlighted in red • Remember to minimize talking so “Bingos” can be heard Bingo Reminders • It is year round. • It subsidizes tuition. • It is important that you work the schedule that you signed up for. • Call bingo coordinator or find a substitute if you are unable to work your scheduled shift. • Have fun, meet new people and sell, sell, sell.
