Campus Action Team - Brighton Students` Union

Brighton Students' Union
Volunteer Recruitment Pack
Campus Action Team
2016/17
What are we looking for?
Brighton SU is a democratic organisation. It is, in part, through the election of student leaders to the major
and other offices of the Union that we ensure that the Union is responsive to the needs and interests of
the membership.
We are looking for enthusiastic members to join our Campus Action Team. We have Campus Action Teams
based at Hastings, Eastbourne, Falmer, Moulsecoomb and Grand Parade whose job is to make life better
for students on their campus by creating events that create community and campaigning for
improvements.
Full training and support will be given to the successful candidate so the only essential requirements are an
enthusiasm for creating positive change at the University of Brighton and a full commitment to the role.
However, this role may be of interest to people looking to develop their skills in public event planning and
campaigning.
