Our Requirements

Load, Set Up, Soundcheck - usually 90 minutes is adequate but please allow for up to 2
hours for more for difficult locations - stairs, elevators etc.
Power Supply - up to 13 amps of electrical current which is a typical household circuit. We can
run from a single plug socket, presuming no other electrical items are on this circuit.
However if available, it is preferable to split our equipment across two circuits. We can
provide extension cables etc.
Performance Area - 8M x 3M ideally but we can also work in 7M x 3M, 6M x 4M or 5M x 5M.
Food & Drink - a hot meal for each band member. If this is not possible then many clients
include us in their evening buffet. We would also really appreciate a free supply of water,
soft drinks and tea/coffee if possible.
Secure Room - to store all cases, to get changed in and hang out in when not
performing.
How Do I Make A Booking?

To secure a confirmed booking we will require a deposit of £500 either via cheque or BACS. I
can send you an invoice with all payment details if you decide to go ahead.
Full payment can be made anytime up to 2 weeks before the event.
What Else Can We Provide?
We offer additional "add-ons" to all our clients which often make you event cheaper and easier to
plan! The most popular services are:

Lighting Upgrade - our standard lighting is usually sufficient for most venues. However, if
you'd like the stage to look really amazing then we can offer more lighting (moving heads
& up lighters) for an additional £75.
DJ service - £145 until 12.30am (£195 until 1am). Rather than booking a separate DJ this
option saves you time, money and space! As we're a large group it's often difficult to fit in
a DJ too and it's ALWAYS best to finish your night with a disco.
Jazz Trio - £350. Many clients like to have some soft background music at some point before
The Sally Army's performance. This is typically during the daytime (eg. drinks reception)
or in the evening (as guests arrive). Our trio (sax, bass, keyboard) will perform up to 90
minutes of music to create a nice atmosphere for you and your guests. *Jazz Duo
available for £250 or Quartet for £450
Extra Set - £195. If you require more music from The Sally Army than the standard 2 sets we
can perform an extra set for up to 50 minutes.

Learn a Song - £50. If you'd like us to learn your first dance or a special song then we need to
have it professionally arranged, hence this small cost. A full list list of our repertoire and
possible first dance choices is available upon request
What Time Will We Arrive/Play?

Arrive @ 6pm - this usually allows us enough time to be set up by 7.30pm. This can be altered
to suite your event.
1st set @ 9pm - we find that guests prefer to meet, eat, drink and relax a little before we start
our performance.
2nd set @ 10.30pm - we can play either background music or disco music during our break.
NB - ALL of the above timings are only suggestions based on our experience so far but
can be easily tailored to your event.
What Will The Venue Need?
Some venues ask for the following information:

Public Liability Insurance - I can send you this when the booking is confirmed.
PAT Test Certification - I can also send you this when the booking is confirmed.
NB - it's probably best NOT to mention these to the venue as it will only create more work
for yourself! Some venues don't ask but if they do then you know we've got it covered!
FAQS
You might have a few more questions:

Can we see your set list? Yes we will happily send you our current set list and full repertoire
list if requested.
• Can we pick what we want you to play? We have a great set list that we know works well
as we've honed it over the years to ensure filled dance floors. This works due to tempo,
style and key - if we start to tinker with this then it probably won't work as well. However,
if you really love or hate certain songs we will make some changes for you.
• Can we pick the DJ songs? As above but we will cater for a maximum of 30 song requests if
received within 7 days before the event.
Can you do just one set? Yes of course! However this does not affect the price as it still means
we are effectively unavailable for other work on that date. We can play up to 80 minutes for 1 set
as our vocalist will need a break.
