These editors have specific jobs that will help you get you to the final product. They include: Storyboard editor, Frame editor, Event editor, Picture editor, Animation editor, and Expression editor. You can get to an editor by selecting the application or frame in the workspace window or storyboard editor. Types of Editors The storyboard editor allows you to edit frames in your game. The frame editor gives you a smooth layout of all of the objects in a frame. The picture editor (shown here) enables you to create all of the picture assets in your game such as images or icons. The event editor is where you enter events. These events trigger actions and define the logic of the game. The expression editor is where you input values for actions or conditions. Properties Values, options, strings, numbers, etc. are properties. The application, frame, layers, objects, and occurrences of objects in the frame all have properties. Most objects share a set of properties. Objects Objects are included inside of the application. They have been created for specific tasks and cover 99.9% of the needs to create a game. Right-click on the screen and choose Insert Object. You see lots of choices: Backgrounds, active objects, backdrop objects, etc. Sound
