What is active learning?
- Active Learning is “a process of having

students engage in some activity that forces
them to reflect upon ideas and how they are
using those ideas”. (Michael 2006)
Active Learning is NOT a large project, but
the smaller tasks you give students
Active Learning is students doing more than
listening. How can you assess listening?
Active Learning is NOT zero “telling”, some
is always necessary.
