Langlands Golf Club Competition Challenge Procedure 1. All competitors must put their phone number (preferably a mobile number) on draw sheets. 2. Top named player/players are the challenger(s). 3. The challenger is to contact their opponent as soon as possible to arrange a mutually convenient date and time for the tie to be played. 4. If contact has not been made within seven days of the round start date, a member of the Match Committee must be informed by either party. 5. The Challenge Book must be used by the challenger to offer dates and times to their opponent when all other means fail. 6. When challenging an opponent or putting a challenge in the Challenge Book please note: (a) Three dates to be offered, two of which must be at weekends. (b) Seven days’ notice must be given for first date. (c) All dates and times must be confirmed bookings. 7. To ensure that all competitions run smoothly, all competition dates must be adhered to. 8. Any player awaiting a handicap must play off scratch until such time as an official handicap is confirmed. 9. In the event of any dispute, the Match Committee decision is final.
