Rules of Good Conduct - Ambassadors Golf Club

CODE OF GOOD CONDUCT AND THE RULES
1. Preamble
Golf is in many ways different from other Sporting Codes
Golf is played without supervision of a referee or umpire. The game relies on the
integrity of the individual to show consideration of other players and abide by the
rules. All players are to conduct themselves in a disciplined manner, demonstrating
integrity, courtesy, sportsmanship and professionalism at all times irrespective of how
competitive they may be.
Golf is a traditional game, played to a set of rules and good conduct that can be found
on your neighbourhood public course as well as the professional golf tours. While
rules allow for fair competition, they also help protect the course itself and in turn
make the golfing experience fun for everyone.
This is the spirit of the game of golf.
