online and almost one in four have had
it happen more than once.

People spend over 700 billion minutes per month on Facebook.

There are over 900 million pages, groups, events and community pages.
The average user is connected to 80 community pages, groups and events
More than 30 billion web links, news stories, blog posts, notes, photo
albums, etc. is shared each month.
When you first make a
Facebook account, the
Privacy settings are set to
Default.
To change these setting
click the Account tab, and
select Privacy Settings.
As you can see there are
many different options;
Everyone, Friends of
Friends, Friends Only,
Recommended and Custom
Click Customize Settings
Button
Once on your Customize
Settings page you can see
all of the different options
 As you can see I have
most of my “Things I share”
settings set to “Friends
Only”.
When you finish setting
your preferences you can
click the “Preview My
Profile” button on the top
right hand corner.
On your Xbox 360
controller you will want to
press the Xbox button.
This will bring you to the
Xbox Dashboard
From here go to your
right to “Profile”.
Now you will want to go
to “Family Settings” and
select it.
Turn on “Console Safety”
There are many different
options for keeping safe.
From your Playstation
menu you will want to go to
the “Settings” tab, then
scroll down to you see
“Security Settings”
Once here you will now
want to select it.
Once here select BD
“Parental Controls”. BD
stands for Blu-Ray disc’s,
which are movies.
Now simply turn On
Restrictions
From this page you can
now select an age for
whom you are protecting.
Once you have your BD
parental controls set you
can now skip back a page
and select “Parental
Control” for game
restrictions.
 Level 1 - 4 : Rated E
for Everyone
 Level 5 - 8 : Rated T
for Teen
 Level 9 - 11: Rated M
For Mature
 Off : No Parental
Controls, users can
play any games.
 Once finished you
can now exit all
parental controls.
Cyber bullying has increased in recent years. In a national
survey of 10-17 year olds, twice as many children indicated they
had been victims and perpetrators.
About 58% of kids admit someone has said mean or hurtful
things to them online. Five out of ten say it has happened more
than once.
