Welcome to the Men’s Niners. Our goal is to enhance the golfing experience of our members
Information about the Men’s Niners can be found on our website: scpdniners.com – but here is some basic
information to get you started. The top half of this form, along with your check for dues, should be placed in the
Men’s Niners mail box located in the Santa Rosa Pro Shop lobby. Keep the botton half for your information. The
Treasurer enters your membership in the Men’s Niners Roster and assigns you an ID number. Check the Roster
for your ID number!
To register for Thursday tournaments, log onto the website, scpdniners.com, and enter the required information
on the Sign-up page. ID numbers (NOT the player’s name) is used to make up the tournament pairings. Therefore,
if you enter an ID number other than your own, you may receive a confirmation email, but you may not be signed
up to play because you have signed up under someone else’s ID number.
Prior to each Niners Thursday tournament, the registered players must go to the sign-up table, pay your tournament
fee and receive your team information.
Station one is where you initial for your green fees
Station two is where you pay your tournament fee of $3.00 ($1.00 if a handicap has not been established)
Station three is where your team captain will be given the team’s scorecard and a plastic cone with the
Team number which he will put on the roof of his golf cart so that members of the foursome may
find each other.
Station three is also where you will be given your assigned starting hole and told who the other
members of your foursome are
Station four is where the treasurer collects money for such things as dues, luncheons, fines, etc
The sign-up table is open for business about forty-rive minutes prior to tee time and closed fifteen minutes prior
to tee time. (30 minutes prior to tee time is preferred) At closing time, the sign-up
table staff will
fill any vacancies with standby golfers. Late golfers may be denied tournament
entrance.
