In addition to our staff, MORC also provides
you the opportunity to work with a Peer Mentor.
A Peer Mentor is a person with a physical or
intellectual disability who has learned problemsolving skills, how to be a self-advocate, and
how to be a full citizen of their community.
What Can A Peer Mentor Do For Me?

that are important to you.

Assist in creating your Care Plan.
•
Help you complete benefits paperwork
and navigate the insurance system.

Help you through residential, educational
and employment transitions.

Identify community resources that
help you be more independent.

Lead self-determination efforts.
