UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA COMMITMENT DEPOSIT MAIL TO: UGA Bursar’s Office Rm. 105 Business Services Building 424 East Broad Street Athens, GA 30602-4277 The University of Georgia requires admitted first-year students to indicate their intention to enroll by paying a non-refundable $300 commitment deposit. This $300 commitment deposit will apply toward your student account balance and orientation fee. If, at the time of enrollment, you have a credit due to scholarship, financial aid or other funds that are applicable to your student account, a refund will be made to you. The commitment deposit for students enrolling in the Summer or Fall semesters is due May 1st; if you are admitted after April 15th, the deposit is due two weeks after admission. Students admitted for the Spring term (starting in January) must also pay the commitment deposit by May 1st. Information regarding New Student Orientation will not be sent to you until after the deposit is received. Please note: You may also pay the non-refundable $300 commitment deposit online by logging in to the Status Check at this address: https://www.admissions.uga.edu/access The commitment deposit secures your place at UGA for the term in which you intend to enroll. A separate fee is required to secure on-campus housing and may also be required for certain special programs such as the Freshman College Summer Experience. Do not send cash. Checks or money orders, made payable to “UGA” in the amount of $300, are acceptable. Please include the student’s full name and birthdate on the check or money order.
