Bates Technical College is located in the City of Tacoma in the South Puget Sound region of
Washington State in the United States. Our region is home to many global companies including
Microsoft, Starbucks, Boeing and others. Bates has been teaching vocational and technical education
for more than 65 years in the United States and in other countries for 10 years. Bates has three large
campuses serving over 15,000 students a year. It is our mission to provide a high quality education that
will help students succeed in the workplace and continue a lifetime of learning.
Bates has strong relationships with businesses that help us ensure that our programs provide
students with the knowledge and training that employer’s want. More than 50 degrees and certificates
are offered in many fields including Audio/Visual Technology & Communication, Business
Administration, Construction, Education & Training, Engineering, Health/Sciences, Information
Technology, Manufacturing, Public Safety, Transportation & Distribution and Wholesale & Retail
Services. Classroom instruction mimics the workplace and most programs can be completed in an
average of 18 months.
It is our goal to establish and build international relationships for the purpose of attracting
students to our campus or providing workplace-training programs to businesses. We would be pleased
to build partnerships with institutions for the purpose of providing education, training and consulting
services as needed.

We invite you to complete the Agent Application. This application is required of all agency
candidates. Please complete the application and then return it to us using the mail, email or fax
information listed below. Once we have reviewed your application and you have been approved, a
contract will be sent to you for signing. Once all parties have signed, the contract becomes active and
