Follow the rules of the game
Remember the official is always right (RESPECT)
Be organised – have the right kit
Listen to your teacher/coach and follow
instructions
Do your best even if your team is losing
Treat your opponents with respect at all times
Be a good loser as well as winner
Set a positive example to others
Shake hands with your opponents at the end of
the game
Remember to have fun
Support and encourage all players
Praise individual and team effort
Teach children to accept losing as well
as winning
Accept the officials decision
Encourage fair play
Stay off the pitch
Promote enjoyment
It is the responsibility of each school to
ensure that parents/spectators abide by
this charter. Any unacceptable
behaviour will result in them
being asked to leave.

COACHES/TEACHERS
Check players are in the correct kit, and have no
jewellery on
Always be fair, honest and considerate
Let the officials do their job – their decision is final
Ensure players are responsible for their own
decisions
Set a positive example to your pupils
Praise the efforts of all your pupils
The behaviour of your children is your
responsibility at all times
Give positive advice to all participants
Act as an advocate for your school AND the NWSC
Please remember our officials are students
themselves and are volunteering. In most cases
they have received training prior to the event.
They are beginning their journey into the world of
organising sport so we have a responsibility to
make it a positive one! Any genuine complaints or
questions should be directed to the organiser.
Please praise the officials when appropriate.
