We are located in Crescent Park by the Crescent Park Carousel.
The Carousel was built in 1895 by Charles ID. Looff, one of the
earliest and foremost carousel designers. The Crescent Park
Carousel is nationally recognized as a true masterpiece of wood
sculpture. Originally built as a showcase for prospective buyers,
it is the largest and most elaborate of Looff's works. The Carousel
contains 62 beautifully hand-carved figures and four fanciful chariots. The Crescent
Park Carousel was saved in the 1970s by a handful of residents and in 1987, it was
designated as a National Historic Landmark.

Welcome to the real thing, an authentic clam shack that remains true to tradition. The
Blount family started in the food business in 1880 harvesting and packing oysters and
clams from Narragansett Bay, and we’re sure that previous generations of our family
would be thrilled to see guests today digging into the tasty fare at the Blount Clam Shack.
We serve pure, wild-caught fish and shellfish that are
sustainably harvested by our trusted suppliers who fish
the coast of the North Atlantic.
The freshness of our seafood and our simply delicious
