December 3, 2015 North Pole Musical-Logistics for December 15 and 16th On each performance day please drop your children off at 5:30 in their designated rooms. The students will know which room they are to go to. For the evening you are not attending the performance, please pick up your child in their designated room at 7:15 (please do not come any earlier). Please check your child out with the supervising teacher – for safety reasons please do not ask your child to walk home alone after the performance. Parking will be limited on both evenings so we encourage you to walk, carpool or park a little further from the school to alleviate traffic congestion. The performance will be approximately an hour in length. Dress Rehearsal There will be a working dress rehearsal for those grandparents and family members not able to make the evening performances. It will be on Tuesday, December 15th at 10:30. Seating will be limited. HOPE for the Holidays The HOPE Committee is organizing a special day for the entire school on Thursday, December 17th. This total results in a $5,000 shopping credit for Mr. Hornberg to replenish the Library Learning Commons with new books for our school. We Need Donations-1 Week 'Till Santa Sale! The Santa Sale is fast approaching on December 9th. It is a wonderful event for all ages but the Santa Sale is only as successful as you make it as we are wholly dependent on your donations of gently used items. Take a moment this weekend to go through your home as we are particularly short on mom and dad gifts. All proceeds will go directly to charities chosen by the HOPE Committee. Boxes for each category are now in the hallway outside the Primary Wing. We are also looking for volunteers to help with sorting donations, wrapping gifts and working the sale itself, so if you are interested, please contact either myself Tanya at [email protected] or Maggie Lin at [email protected].
