What Is It?
Attaché is an add-on utility that lets users attach
multiple, arbitrary files in a variety of common formats
to Baan business documents. E.g.
• PDF
• EXCEL
• WORD
• GIF
• JPEG
Works with Baan IV and Baan 5.
Thumbnails are available for JPEG and GIF files on
UNIX-based Baan systems.

How To Implement Attaché
1. Determine the areas in Baan you want attachments
[Service Orders, Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, etc.].
2. Disus implements a very small customization of the
specified Baan session(s) or provides a new session
to access the attachments screen.
3. Attachments are uploaded via the BW interface and
stored in customer-specified directory on the server.
4. Files are transferred dynamically, when selected.
5. Modifications to attachments need to be re-uploaded
to the server, otherwise changes only saved as
a local copy.
