Annual Singles/Doubles Tournament

**TWO DAY EVENT**
LOCATION: Granada Bowl, 1620 Railroad Ave, Livermore, Ca. 94550. (925) 447-5600
DATE: February 14 & 15, 2017. Singles at 9:30 am – Doubles at 12:30 pm.
(Entries Close February 13, 2017)
COST: $18.00 PER BOWLER, PER EVENT (optional All Events is $5.00 additional). (100% Return).
Cost Breakdown: Lineage - $8.00 – Expense Fund is $1.75 Prize Fund is $7.85 and SIRS 10Pin Bowling Fund is $.40.
(Note: Bowling Lineage includes Tournament Scoring and Results). USBC rule 314 is waived.
This Tournament will be open to all SIRS and Guests with a USBC membership and in good standing and those on the
waiting list who are bonafide guests of SIRS and Lady guests (50 years and older) of SIRS using highest known average.
Wives of SIRS may bowl regardless of their age. All contestants will bowl three (3) games in each event. You may bowl
Singles without bowling Doubles and you may bowl Doubles without bowling Singles.
DIVISIONS:
There will be two Divisions in the Tournament in both the Singles Event and the Doubles Events. Those Divisions will
be set after the entries have been received and the average split is determined.
AVERAGES:
(a). All bowlers shall use SIR Tournament average at time of entry submission (18 games or more).
IF NONE
(b). Use highest 2015-2016 USBC Winter average at time of entry submission (21 games or more).
IF NONE
(c). Bowler may use current USBC sanctioned league average with 21 games or more at the time of entry.
(d). If average is unverifiable, entrant must bowl scratch (230 average).
(e). USBC Rules 319a-2 and 319d will not apply.
(f). Players averages will be verified on www.sirinc.org/bowling (If SIR Tour. Avg. used) or
on www.bowl .com (If USBC Avg. is used)
HANDICAP:
The handicap for the Doubles Event will be 100% of 460. The handicap for the Singles Event will be 100% of 230.
CERTIFICATION:
This Tournament will be certified by the USBC and any and all disputes will be determined by their Rules Book unless it
has been superceded by rules herein. All disputes will be resolved by the Tournament Committee.
PRIZE FUND:
The Prize Fund will be returned 100%. Distribution ratio will be at least 1 prize for every 6 entries. No Bowlers may win
more than one prize in each event with the same partner. Prizes will be awarded in the following categories, Doubles
Handicap Series and Singles Handicap Series in each Division and ALL EVENTS (optional – based on the combined
Doubles and Singles Event Score).

convenience and pleasure of the Members and their guests who desire to participate. SONS IN RETIREMENT, INC. and
it branches do not assume any responsibility for the well being of the Participants or their property, in any matters
pertaining to said activities.
