DRESS:
Riders must be correctly dressed for all classes. Registered shirts will be allowed.
REFUNDS:
Show holding bodies are obliged to refund entries under the following circumstances:
- If a class or competition is cancelled before the commencement of the event.
- If cancellation is due to exceptionally inclement weather or for veterinary reasons, a 20% administration
levy may be deducted from the entry fees to cover costs borne by the Show holding body.
No refunds will be given after closing date of entries unless with a
Veterinary certificate, in which case 80% of the entries after levy deductions will be refunded.
CONDUCT:
Any owner or rider who attempts to interfere with or influence the Judges, Stewards or
Officials, or who at any time uses any contemptuous or abusive language to any Judges,
Stewards or Officials. May forfeit his/her rights to any prizes to which they might
otherwise be entitled. By entering this show, it is confirmed that the
CODE OF CONDUCT is understood and shall be adhered to.
CATERING:
Catering will be available
STABLING:
Stabling will be available @ R90 per night per horse for wooden stables. R130.00 per night per horse for
brick stables, direct contact with the office. Stallions get preference.

NOTES: All current SAEF rules will apply. The Organizers reserve the right to cancel, combine and restrict classes should entries so warrant. All persons participating at this
event do so at their own risk and will have no claim against the, including any officials, employees, members, affiliated bodies, show-holding bodies or sponsors of SASJ or
SAEF, for any damage or loss of property or death or injury of persons suffered during or in connection with this event from any cause whatever. No minor may participate in
this event without the permission of his/her guardian, who indemnifies SASJ and SAEF (including all other persons and bodies) against any such claims by such minors. Riders
must hold SJSA or any society under SAEF or FEI membership for all classes.

All classes will be run under SASA Showing Rules- effective 1st September 2016
All Competitors (Riders, Owners & horses) in Graded Open and Novice classes have to be registered with a recognized club, SAEF &
SASA, or must pay a Temporary membership of R60 with their entry fees. Temporary members will not earn Rider Ranking or Victor
Ludorum Points. Membership forms may be obtained on the SASA website www.showingsa.co.za or from [email protected].
SASA will pay entry fees for SASA EDTS competitors in all classes. That includes In Hand and Under Saddle classes. The competitor
must be an EDTS member of SASA. Membership is free. EDTS application forms, Rules and Conditions are available at
www.showingsa.co.za or from [email protected].
Passports, which include a valid height certificate, must be available for inspection on request.

THE SPONSORS, SASA , THE ORGANISING COMMITTEE AND OFFICIALS APPOINTED BY THOSE BODIES, SHALL IN NO

Riders will have to pay a temporary membership fee of R57 per class if they are not members of DSA.
Important Notes:
 Please check on the test what is permitted and what is not.
 All riders must be correctly dressed for prize giving. Failure to comply could result in loss of prize money and or rosettes. (the organizing committee
reserves the right to change this if required)
 All horses must have a bridle number attached to the left side of the bridle at all times when in a warm-up arena or in competition arenas. No bridle
number will result in elimination. It is the responsibility of the rider to get / make or buy a suitable bridle number.
 All stallions must wear a yellow tag on the right side of the bridle at all times when in a warm-up arena or in competition arenas.
