PRIDE LONDON FESTIVAL 2014 Planning is well underway for the 2014 Pride London Festival and we are excited this year to be celebrating our 20th Pride Parade! The mission of Pride London Festival is to provide an annual opportunity to generate celebratory, cultural, artistic & educational events which affirm the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual, transgender, & two-spirited people, & their supporters through activities which promote unity, inclusion, & awareness of sexual & gender diversity. This year we are excited to be holding our 3-day outdoor festival in Victoria Park again, and are making some changes to allow for more vendors to participate and have increased hours on Sunday to allow our parade crowds to take advantage of the festival. Of course, we could not put on the festival each year without the generous support of our sponsors, advertisers, vendors & community partners. Not only is it a great marketing opportunity, but also a chance to let Londoners know that you support the positive social change that Pride stands for. April 1st, 2014 _BECOME A VENDOR_ We are excited to be holding our outdoor festival in beautiful Victoria Park again this year, and have extended our Sunday hours to accommodate the crowds from the Pride Parade. The 3-day festival will run Friday, July 25th (6pm - 11pm), Saturday, July 26th (11am - 11pm) & Sunday, July 27th (11am - 8pm), and will feature entertainment, a beer/wine garden, food vendors, exhibitor tent, pet zone & kid zone. After receiving feedback from our vendors, we have decided to add the option for vendors to bring and set-up their own 10’ x 10’ tent in a space provided. We will continue to offer the option to be in a larger community tent, and all vendors will receive one 8 foot table, two chairs & the option to have a hydro hook-up. Set-Up & Security Information Set-up will take place on Friday, July 25th from 12:00pm – 6:00pm. All cars & trucks must be out of the park no later than 5:45pm and must not be in the park at any time while the festival is open, in accordance with the City of London Bylaw 1. The large tent will be secured when the festival is not open to the public & overnight security will be provided, however Pride London Festival is not responsible for anything left in the tent. Only food vendors need to provide insurance details, but all vendors are encouraged to carry up-to-date insurance.
