BULL POINT has been transferred from one Big W to the other Big W. Chris Waller adds the polish this preparation to the Fastnet Rock 4yo entire.
Has won 2 from 2 first-up and has won 2 from 4 on Slow ground. Failed in Heavy @ 4th run in last prep but it had seriously lost form by then. We’re
taking a risk with his Heavy track abilities but he’s not the only one in this race slightly suspect.
IN CAHOOTS has won at his only test on Heavy10 andthat was when successful in the Gosford Guineas @ 1200m back in April. Has won 3 from 4
first-up so anyone thinking this chap is an $8 chance could be seriously mistaken.
TERRAVISTA comes into this following a 21w spell. Has a perfect first-up record but has yet to be tested on Heavy ground. Failed @ only Slow track
run so punters taking the suggested short odds could be left lamenting. Won 4 from 6 on Dead4 & Dead5 but that isn’t Heavy?

SACRED FALLS has outstanding form in the wet having won 4 from 5 in Slow &/or Heavy. He also has won twice first-up and twice at this distance.
Seems to have been around forever but the Waller entire is just turned 5. Tom Berry onboard today.
TIGER TEES got the narrow win over Mr Chard last start. The 2nd horse confirmed the form with a win over Tougher Than Ever in the Rowley Mile at
Hawkesbury on Thursday. The Pride trained 7yo can improve and he has a very solid wet track record winning 4 from 8 in Slow or Heavy ground.
ROYAL DESCENT resumes from a 18w spell for the Waller stable. The Redoute’s Choice 5yo mare usually races well enough fresh and has won and
placed twice in his 3 heavy track runs. Smart 2nd in the Doncaster on the Heavy9 back in Apr.14. Kerrin McEvoy has the mount.
CRITERION & WEARY cannot be eliminated from our top 5 chances either. The former looks close to value in early markets so watch odds

GYPSY DIAMOND resumes from an 18w spell for the Snowden boys. Under John O’Shea the 4yo performed very well first-up and we see no
reason to assume that will not continue under this trainer. Has won at her only Heavy track attempt here @ 1600m when winning the Carbine Club
Stks. Blake Shinn has the mount. Will probably settle back but has the class to finish well & the 1300m looks ideal fresh.
DIAMOND DRILLE resumes from an 18w spell for the Waterhouse stable. She did take 5 runs to get fully fit last preparation when a slick winner of
the Queen Of The Turf @ 1600m run in Slow6. Tom Berry was onboard that day & he’s been given the nod again for her return. May need the run
THUMP did okay on resuming when 4.2 lens 9th behind Sweet Idea over 1200m here in the WFA Missile Stakes. She improved dramatically 2nd up
last prep. when successful in the Surround Stakes at Warwick Farm @ 1400m run in Dead5 conditions. Hasn’t shown much in Slow or Heavy so far?
GOLD EPONA loves the heavy & could be another surprise winner @ big odds. Kathy O’hara onboard for the Kris Lees camp. Excuses last stat.
KRISTY LEE failed in her 2 Melbourne runs but if you go on his last Sydney run when ½len 2nd to I’ve Got The Looks, the Waller 5yo could be a
surprise packet at big odds. Has Tim Clark onboard for her Sydney return.

A Grade Betting Race. Market left at 90%
VILLA VERDE is by far the most highly rated galloper in this race according to our database & apparently the benchmark handicapper agrees with
us. Don’t like that! This 4yo mare resumes from a 17w spell. As a 3yo back in March she resumed from a similar spell to win the WFA Challenge
Stakes @ Randwick @ trip. With expected natural WFA improvement she again looks the winner in our view.
SHAMAL WIND is another mare that is resuming from a 17w spell. She too won first-up from a 12w spell back in Feb.14 coming from 13th @ 400m.
Ryan Maloney was onboard that day and Craig Williams has been engaged by Robert Smerdon for this return.
ANGELS BEACH resumes from a 21w spell for the Peter Moody stable. Glen Boss onboard today. Has won 3 from 4 first-up so obviously a serious
contender once again. No value in our opinion in early markets.
ANGELIC LIGHT resumes from a 1 Year 17w spell. Not many win first-up from such a lengthy spell. However Robbie Griffiths has given the 5yo
mare 2 solid barrier trails (heavy tracks) at Cranbourne and she’s performed very well in both. Michael Rodd’s a late riding engagement replacing R.
Maloney. Michael has won on the mare @ the track in the past which is always a good sign. Looks to be above our required odds in early markets.

RIZIZ has the best current form in this race. His 3 len win in the Spring Stakes here 14 days ago screams superiority. Lindop again onboard.
GRIS CARO has been given a very lengthy spell by Jake Stevens. Won the Balaclava Cup @ 1600m first-up for Whip members way back in Sep.13.
That was about as short as he likes it but the manner of the trainers enthusiasm suggests he’s expecting a bold effort @ 1400m today.

TICK FIELD FOR 3RD & 4TH
This time of the year is tougher. A lot of runners resume. However, when it’s tough – The Whip cracks loudest. This looks an ideal race to have a go at a 1% - 5% First4
Go very wide but wise to take ALL the value horses as bankers/standouts using the Rec. Bet as a guide on each banker combination.
A Grade Betting Race. Market left at 90%
FOUNRY is one of the Galileo’s that Lloyd Williams imports (almost exclusively) from the UK. The 5yo had a narrow win first-up @ first Aussie start
at Flem. over 1400m in an Open Handicap @ 1400m. Identical break this time by the trainer and identical rider in Craig Williams. Being a relatively
lightly raced young horse we expect nice WFA improvement since Mar. They are going all out to win. Watch prices closer to start time.
FAST AND FREE put up a solid effort last start when just 1.25 lens 2nd to smarty The Cleaner here over 1600m in Dead5. Jackie Berriman sticks with
the Mick Price 6yo today and her 2k claim is going to be very handy.
BLACKIE did okay under his 59k last start when 3.05 len 5th to The Cleaner @ 1600m. The Weir trained 7yo returned from a 5w freshen & we’re
anticipating nice improvement from the run. He won nicely @ this track & distance back in Sep 13 & obviously has a liking for it. Brad onboard
HVASSTAN is a stablemate of Mourinho & the trainer has opted for a 2k appr. in Patrick Moloney. This is Pat’s 1st ride on the 5yo entire. Back in Sep
13 as a 4yo, he resumed from a spell of similar length, to finish 0.4 lens 4th to Shoreham after losing a plate. He also did little in a barrier trial at
Cranbourne prior to his first-up run last Spring - just as he did at Cranbourne 4 days ago? Small bet looms at the $50 on offer – could run last.
MOURINHO has raced well first-up in the past and although now a 7yo we cannot rule out another bold effort. The fact that trainer Gelagotis has
engaged Craig Newitt suggests he’s anticipating a big effort.
