in the UK.
NHBC figures are available ahead of Government figures.

Steve Catt, England
“Overall Registrations in Wales were marginally ahead
of the numbers seen in 2015, representing the second
highest annual Registration total since 2007. Generally
there is good demand in the market and we are hearing
positive feedback from builders and developers for the
next 12 months. Consumer confidence remains high and
we have a number of in-demand areas, such as Cardiff,
that remain extremely popular with home buyers.”
“Registrations for England throughout the year were marginally
down on 2015 levels, but taking the uncertainty around Brexit into
account, the industry has remained resilient. We have seen strong
growth in Yorkshire & Humberside, the South East and North
West, with only London experiencing a significant drop which is in
line with what the major developers have been reporting.”
