ORATIA UNITED AFC SUMMER FOOTBALL SENIOR SECTION Section One: Social Mixed Teams: 16 x Social mixed teams 10 Players per Team (minimum 4 Ladies) $300.00 per team (To be paid before first game) Kick off will be at 6.15pm 20 minutes each half There will be 2 grades this year with the top 8 sides from last year making up the 1st division and the next 8 x teams making up the 2nd division. 1st Division Each team will play 7 games in the round robin with the top 4 playing off for the 1st division championship and the bottom 4 teams playing for the plate. Each team then plays the other 3 teams in round robin and the overall championship winners will be the team who finishes top after this round robin, please note points will not carry over from the first round. 2nd Division: Each team will play 7 games in the round robin with the top 4 playing off for the 1st division championship and the bottom 4 teams playing for the plate. Each team then plays the other 3 teams in round robin and the overall championship winners will be the team who finishes top after this round robin, please note points will not carry over from the first round. Section Two: Open Grade 16 x Serious Teams (Men’s, Women’s & Mixed) 10 Players per Team $300.00 per team (To be paid before first game) Kick off will be at 7.05pm. 20 minutes each half. The format of the competition in both sections is to have a full round robin where all teams play each other on a league format, 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, goals for & against. Knockout Cup: The top eight in each division will play in a mini tournament for the Knockout Cup; the bottom eight in each division will play in a mini tournament for the Plate Trophy. The finals day will be held on Friday 3rd and 10th February, all trophies/prizes will be handed out on Friday 10th. Rules: Attached Extra Rules: In the social section if the ladies score it is worth 2 goals. A minimum of 3 ladies on the field at all times (Social section only) No shooting inside the penalty area. Headers can be scored from inside the penalty area. Goalkeepers cannot kick the ball over the halfway line from a dead ball or out of their hands.
