To Family and Friends of Soccer Players,
The soccer season is quickly approaching and I am looking forward to another GREAT
season. I am excited to have many returning players and am confident we will be able to
put a strong team on the field.
The success of the team needs your help. We have many opportunities in which you can get
involved and help out the team. First, we are in desperate need of new equipment and
uniforms. This expense is our largest and most pressing. I need to order the uniforms soon
in order to receive them in time for the first game. Next, the team needs parent support at
the games. Come be a spectator and cheer on the team. We also are in need of some
adults to run a concessions/ snack bar at the home games. Lastly, the boys could use food
before each game. We have traditionally had a sack lunch donated for the team before each
game. As our games will now be played at 4:00 P.M. for JV and at 6:00 P.M. for Varsity
players a “sack lunch” is vital.
These are the three most pressing and urgent needs. What I’m asking is for each of you to
get involved and help as you are able to. Monetary donations are most helpful. You can
make a personal, tax-deductible donation to the school. The donation MUST be marked for
Boys Soccer in order for our team to receive the funds. This process takes some time so the
sooner you are able to send in your donation the quicker I am able to use it for the boys.
Donations from companies/employers are also a good source of assistance. Companies may
be willing to purchase uniforms which can be written off as a tax deduction. If any of you
are able to donate, are able to ask your company, or know of a company you could ask for a
donation, please let me know as soon as possible. I can provide a letter on school letterhead if needed or a tax form. Please, make checks to Queen Creek Booster Club under
memo write BOYS SOCCER.
