The nominee must be a coach (head or assistant) of an HBCU cheer or dance team.
The coach must be AACCA certified for cheer. The certification must be current at the time of the nomination through the time of the event.

The coach may not be an undergraduate student.
The HBCU coach being nominated must have at least one team competing at the 2017 Black College Cheer and Dance Championship |
BCCDC Invitational Cup and be the current coach of the team at the time of the event.
How to Nominate a Coach
Team members should submit a letter stating why the nominee should be recognized as the Cheer or Dance Coach of the Year.
Include the following:
• Coach’s Full Name
• Team captain(s) | Team Manager
• The College or University | Cheer Team Name | Location
• Contact Name | Telephone number | E-mail address of the team adviser or administrative contact
Incomplete nominations will be voided.
Deadline for Nomination Submissions
January 31, 2017 11:59PM. Submissions after the deadline will not be accepted.

Selection Criteria
A committee formed by members of the hosting company for the event will review all the submissions and select no more than 5 finalists for both
cheer and dance. The selection committee will select the Coach of the Year from the finalists selected.
Presentation of Award
The award will be presented at the 2017 Black College Cheer and Dance Championship | BCCDC Invitational on April 8, 2017.
