1. Chairman’s Report
1.1
It has been a hectic fixture list lately. We could have done without the Blackburn replay but at least
we don’t have to go to Abu Dhabi now for a friendly because the dates will clash.
1.2
An acknowledgement for Ted Haughey was in the Liverpool programme on Boxing Day.
1.3
The branch Home Seasoncard is on offer tonight for the Cardiff and Chelsea games. Pete Gregory’s
name was drawn out for both games.
1.4
The home bus for the West Ham Semi Final game on 8th January will leave at 6.30pm prompt. Price
£6 walks-ons.
1.5
A few members have mentioned that the Bus we charter for the home Cup games hasn’t been that
full so we are bringing it to a vote so ask whether we should continue for the remaining games. We
have lost money on all 5 buses for far. It was suggested that the average £70 loss on these Cup
buses is made up with what we make on football cards and walk ons from the normal home buses
so we should still run them - vote: unanimous.
2. Treasurer’s Report
2.1
Current balance is £2.765.87 but there will be quite a lot to come out of the account for tickets in the
near future e.g. Norwich, Spurs, Newcastle, Barcelona so we will need get money back in quickly for
those games.
3. Secretary’s Report
3.1
We have had notification that the City Circle is being redesigned due to the pending stadium
expansion. They are awaiting planning permission to locate it down Commonwealth Way with work
starting this summer.
3.2
We have had a new branch banner made. The other one (the Dickov/Aguero banner) is now hanging
on Level 3 of the stadium.
3.3
We haven’t heard any further progress on the flight for Norwich Away so this probably isn’t going to
happen now.
3.4
The Supporters Club Dinner has been cancelled because of the fixture change against Chelsea on
3rd February.
4. Ticket Secretary’s Report
4.1
Taking names for Man Utd away on 1st March, although this game might move if we get through to
the Capital One Cup Final (which is on 2nd March).
5. Any Other Business
5.1
Andrea asked whether anyone else has joined City Voice. Colin explained this is a separate website
forum which fans can join and give feedback, make suggestions and complete surveys on things like
the matchday experience, catering, the City website, etc.
