It is the only NRL team based in Victoria. In addition, the FDC will be responsible for achieving membership sales targets and increasing engagement with the Club. The Fan Development Coordinator needs to be relentless in their drive to create as many leads as possible and maximise conversions to members. Every sales opportunity needs to be identified and seized with the Club’s overarching focus on growth. Success in this role will be gauged by the growth and quality of the Club’s prospect database as well as revenue from membership sales. The role will also involve the effective use of software platforms and technology to efficiently market to multiple channels online, as well as the ability to analyse and review the data captured to enhance Melbourne Storm’s direct marketing capability. Key Responsibilities Prospecting and Acquisition Identifying opportunities to acquire new prospect data through various sources Mining the existing prospect database to provide leads for the Club’s sales teams Membership Sales Program Identify potential membership sales leads for the business Developing customer journey profiles and marketing automation initiatives, with the aim to transition warm prospects into high-value members Build and maintain relationships with existing members Fan Experience Management Work with the Membership & Merchandise Manager and Consumer Engagement Manager to enhance the fan experience through a variety of initiatives Deliver a range of consumer-based activities for the Club across membership, ticketing, merchandise, match day experience and fan events, i.e. end-to-end management of consumer promotions Data Segmentation and Insight Generation Use the Club’s Data Warehouse to segment, qualify and continually monitor prospect activity Lead score to determine the quality of prospects Use the Data Warehouse to derive actionable insights for the business to drive great commercial outcomes, i.e. monetising members via trade-up activities Member Communication Manage the execution of the Club’s email and SMS campaigns to members Ensure Australian Privacy Principles are maintained throughout the communication process Key Relationships Internal Membership team Events team Marketing team Digital Media Manager and team Commercial team Finance and Administration Department Football Department Game Day Volunteers External Melbourne Storm members and fans MOPT, venue and entertainment staff DCA Ticketmaster Position Description – Fan Development Co-ordinator Page 2 of 4 Printed Versions of this document are uncontrolled. Qualifications, Experience and Licences Required Working with Children Check Data Pass (ADMA Certification) Please note that all Melbourne Storm staff will need to meet NRL accreditation/registration requirements, which includes National Police Record clearance, before they are appointed to their role.
