CAMPO MTP (Metropolitan Transportation
Plan)
• MTP consists of 2 Parts:
– 25-Year Fiscally-Constrained Transportation Plan
– 40-Year Comprehensive Transportation Plan (not fiscally-constrained)
• MTP uses socio-economic and land use data to determine regional
transportation needs
• Fiscally-constrained plan is based on expected revenues over 25
years; Comprehensive plan is based on needed improvements over
40 years
• Draft MTP expected to be released in August/September
