Language Purposes and Functions
This course prepares students for level A2 based in the syllabus on the requirements of the
Instituto Cervantes (A2).
The student will be able to communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and
direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters. The student will be able to
describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background, immediate environment and matters
in areas of immediate need. The course covers appropriate language skills, techniques and
methodology, and offers lots of exam focused language expansion in the key skill areas of
reading, writing, listening, speaking, grammar and vocabulary.
