 Wagon- lighter, typically horse-drawn vehicle for
transporting goods or passengers
 Cattle- animals on a farm or ranch that are raised for
use
 Pasture- grassy land used for
animals to graze

tends or takes care of horses
or cattle
 Ranch- a large farm for raising horses, cattle, or
sheep
 Chores-the regular or daily work of a household or
farm
Retelling Picture Cards

Cut these pictures apart and use them to help
you retell the story “Bubba the Cowboy
Prince” by Helen Ketteman
Find a partner to retell the fairy tale to; make
sure you include all pictures cards while you
are retelling the story!

Fairy Tale Guessing
Game

 One person will be “it.”
 This person will not know anything because I’m going to
hang the sign with the name of the fairy tale on his/her back!
So you will see the title, but the person who is “it” will have
no idea!!!
 Tell volunteer that he/she can ask questions of the class to
discover the name of the fairy tale, but the questions have to be
worded so that the class answers with yes or no.
