My Name Game Instructions
Game Set Up:

Unfold the game board
Cut out and fold the dice together
Cut out all 45 playing cards (you will have nine extra cards)
Lay the playing cards face down in the playing grid
How to Play:
1) Everyone playing takes turn rolling the dice. The player who gets the highest number rolls first.
2) Roll the dice on the colour grid. Match the number on the dice and the colour the dice lands on
with the corresponding square on the playing grid.
3) Pick up the card and look at the picture. Do not show anyone else!
4) Begin to describe the object or picture to the other players. Be sure not to tell them what it is.
Tell them what it begins with, looks like, sounds like or suggest rhyming words.
5) The first person to guess what the picture is wins the cards.
6) Once all 36 playing cards have been used, the winner is the person that has collected the most
cards.

If possible you might want to consider laminating the name games that need to be kept in the
Book Bin ready to be played.

Make sure volunteers have an opportunity to play the game during training session.
