TEAM PLAY SYSTEMS
A pattern of play in which the movement of all
players is integrated in a coordinated fashion in
order to accomplish an offensive or defensive
objective
TEAM TACTICS
A collective action of two or more players using technical skills and
individual tactics in order to create or take away the advantage of an
opponent
INDIVIDUAL TACTICS
Action by one player using technical skills in order to create an opportunity or take away the
advantage of an opponent. A tactic may be classified as offensive or defensive.

This is accomplished by the players on
offence using tactics to create time and space
When a opposition team has possession of
the puck, your team is on defence
The objective of defensive play is:
To prevent good scoring opportunities by the
opposing players and to regain possession of
the puck.
Success is dependent on the execution of
proper tactics which are designed to take
away the time and space available to the
attacker..
