COURSE CONTENT
This 15 minutes eLearning module intends to provide a basic
introduction on classification and in particular GS1’s Global Product
Classification (GPC) - a rules-based, four-tier classification system
for grouping products.
At the end of this course, participants are expected to:
- understand the difference between identification and classification
- explain GPC benefits
- describe GPC classification
- explain how GPC works in practice
TARGET AUDIENCE
GS1 Member Organisations;
User companies with very limited or no prior knowledge of the
subject.
HOW CAN GS1 MOs USE IT?
