A North Carolina blue and white basketball will be presented to each team. Each camper will be given a North Carolina tee shirt. Awards will be given in each league for best defensive team, best offensive team, best rebounding team, best shooting team and the team that shows the best sportsmanship. C oaches will have access to the UNC Basketball Video/DVD Library. The competition, organization, outstanding facilities and hospitality offered at camp are second to none. We use this time as a great TEAM building experience. The Elite College Prep Camp is for the advanced, highly skilled, seriousminded, very intense high school player. This camp will help to prepare the top player for the college level game. Prior experience as a varsity starter is strongly recommended but not required. Spaces are limited! Apply today. PRO ELITE ALL AMERICAN CLINIC JUNE 4 | AGES 16–18 This one day pro clinic is exclusively for the exceptional athlete basketball player. An extremely high level skill set will be required fro participation and benefit from this strategical one day clinic. To technically qualify to participate in this clinic you must be 16 years of age or entering the 10th grade and be on the skill level of a Pro Elite All American Player. INDIVIDUAL CAMP JUNE 28–JULY 1 | JULY 5–8 | AGES 8–18 In addition to the coaches of the Tar Heels, the camp staff will consist of members of the University of North Carolina women’s basketball team, former collegiate players, pro players, and current college, high school, and junior high school coaches. The camper-to-counselor coach ratio will be approximately 6 to 1. Each camper will receive individual attention as well as small group instruction in order to improve her basketball skills. Without a doubt, the best camp staff in America. Special Feature: Each camper will receive a North Carolina blue and white Lady Tar Heel basketball, a camp tee shirt, and an individual digital picture with Coach Hatchell. This camp will be divided into 6 or more age and ability groups for instruction and competition. Emphasis will be placed on fundamentals, individual defense, individual offense, and shooting techniques. Each camper will have the learning opportunity to improve her skills and develop an increased enjoyment for the game of basketball. Awards will be given in each age group for Hot Shot Champion, Free Throw Champion, and One-on-One Champion. Awards will be given on each team for best offensive player, best defensive player, most improved player and best camper. Campers will be transported to and from the gyms by buses. In addition to coaches, counselors, and the camp administrator residing in the dorm with campers, 24-hour security will be provided by Granville Towers. Day camp is run in conjunction with the Individual camps and a supervised lounge area is provided for campers to use when they are not in training sessions. $50 Application Form All camps are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender). FINISHING MOVES CAMP JULY 2–3 | AGES 8–18 Special Feature: Each camper will receive a North Carolina blue and white Lady Tar Heel basketball and a camp shirt. Players will receive individual instruction on their Skill Development. Post players will work on playing with their back to the basket, posting and scoring in the paint, being a good offensive rebounder, rebounding defensively, block-outs, starting the fast break outlet pass, using screens, use of the bank shot and other aspects of inside play. Guards or perimeter players will work on how to get open, footwork triple-threat position, one-on-one moves, ball handling and passing skills, reading screens and three-point shots. For campers attending Finishing Moves Camp on July 2-3 and needing lodging to stay over for Individual Camp on June 28-July 1, a stay over fee of $50 is added to the Finishing Moves camp fee of $225 making the total cost $275. The extra $50 covers the cost of housing for one extra night and two meals (dinner and brunch).The total cost to attend Finishing Moves Camp and stay over for Individual 1 Camp is $765. SHOOTING CAMP JULY 3–4 | AGES 8–18 Special Feature: Each camper will receive a North Carolina blue and white Lady Tar Heel basketball and a camp tee shirt. Each camp will be taught fundamental systematic approach to shooting, a step-by-step shooting progression, shooting drills and shot selection – everything you need to improve your shot. For campers attending the Individual Camp on July 5-8 and needing lodging to stay over for the Shooting Camp on July 3-4, a stay over fee of $50 is added to the Shooting camp fee of $225 making the total cost $275. The extra $50 covers the cost of housing for one extra night and two meals (dinner and breakfast). The total cost to attend Individual 2 Camp and stay over for Shooting Camp is $765.
