RULES OF ENGAGEMENT Membership/Tournament Payments: 1. The Madskillz Lax Membership is comprised of each FULL season. The Spring/Summer Season entails the month of May and half of the month of June. As a Madskillz Lax member you are OBLIGATED to pay for the whole entire season. The Fall Season is comprised of the months of September, October, and half the month of November. To become a member of Madskillz Lax you must be a member for the whole entire current season. We will NOT prorate seasons. 2. Tournament fees are separate. Once you have committed to a tournament and placed on the roster you are obligated to pay for this tournament since the program bases player cost on the amount of players that have said that they are participating in this tournament. Tournament fees are due before each tournament. If you do not attend the tournament you will forfeit the entire tournament fee. We will only have a maximum of 22 players per team roster for each 12v12 tournament. We will only have a maximum of 16 players per roster for 7v7 tournaments. 3. Tournament fees can be paid online at www.madskillzlax.com or a check can be handed in to the administrator at a practice. Paying a tournament fee online will have an added markup involved since there are associated fees to this service. 4. A player will not be able to participate in the tournament until the tournament fee is received by the program. 5. If you notice any discrepancies in membership or tournament billing please highlight the Madskillz Lax Program so we can rectify the problem. 6. Membership refunds will be established on a case by case basis if needed. Player Responsibilities/Behavior: 1. We will travel to certain tournaments that maybe out of state or far away within the state. We expect a commitment from each member to commit to at least one far-away tournament. Another way for players to get better is to compete with high level programs which are usually out of state. 5. This is a TRAVEL program. We expect to compete at a very high level in every single tournament that we participate in. With this, sometimes playing time will be skewed to favor the more talented players during the playoff rounds and championship games. 6. This is a TRAVEL program. We expect players to follow the proper etiquette or playing time in tournaments may be adjusted accordingly. 7. This is a TRAVEL program. We expect each player to play in a position that we feel will benefit the team at certain instances. 8. This is a TRAVEL program. We highly discourage players joining or committing to other travel lacrosse programs that interfere with their participation with Madskillz Lax. We expect EVERY single player to commit to this program at the highest level. Madskillz Lax reserves the right to NOT ALLOW player participation in this program if a player participates in another competitive lacrosse program. 9. This is a TRAVEL program. We expect players that have committed to a tournament to be responsible enough to show up BOTH DAYS for the tournament to be ready to play in all of the games. 10. This is a TRAVEL program.
