Theme for May 6th: “Let the Good Times Roll”
Join The Arc of Blair County for a night of appetizers, wine, laughter and painting - or, as we
call it - Paint and Pinot Nights.
We are always careful to select a theme that allows many choices and options. We do not want
everyone to leave with the exact same look or painting. You can make the piece as simple or as
complex as you choose. Unleash the child in you. Most people who do not think of themselves as
artists leave amazed at their personal creation. The photos on this page reflect paintings with
different abilities and paint experience.
The Arc will allow you to guide the pace that you are comfortable
with. There will be several identical pre-sketched canvases of the
above theme ready for those who are trying paint night for the first
time and feel more comfortable following a guide. The Arc artist
will provide step by step instructions of 5 different ‘theme’ choices
and each person will receive limited color palettes for painting
selected. For those folks who love the freedom of selecting your
own paint colors and free styling the theme, we will continue to
accommodate your creativity as you inspire us with your design ideas.
Why choose The Arc to paint? Because you will be supporting The Arc and the services and
programs it provides to people with disabilities. The Paint and Pinot Nights help to fund the art
programs at The Arc. We pride ourselves on the service we provide during the Paint and Pinot
classes. We don’t believe there are many paint classes that provide everything received at The
Arc Paint and Pinot nights yet at the same time support a charitable agency.
The class is only $35 &includes appetizers, cups, all paint supplies, a 16x20 canvas, easels,
aprons, & hands-on instruction, including brush stroke techniques.
