Spring 2017 12U & 15U Girls Volleyball Academy Program
The Academy program
provides opportunities
for players to take their
skills to the next level
in competitive games
outside of the YMCA
recreational program.
Academy players invest
up to 4 hours per week
in footwork, conditioning,
skills training and in
competitive play.
A tryout is required for
all prospective Academy
program players.
Tryouts: March 4th - 12:30 p.m.
Practice: February 27th
Season: March – May
Eligibility - Players must have been born on or
between these dates: U12 - of 9/1/04 to 8/31/06
U15 - of 9/1/01 to 8/31/04
Practice - Weekly skills practice and conditioning
is held twice per week for 1 hour.
Games - Games may include double header
games against two different teams to maximize
time, travel and competition.

Tournament - There are opportunities for the
Academy teams to participate in tournaments if
they choose.
Academy Fee: $215
Registration: Covers player and league fees,
jersey and coaching instruction.
Upcoming Parent Meeting - There will be a
brief parent meeting February 27 at 6 p.m.
