You practice integrity by thinking about the virtues that matter to you and doing your best to live by them. When you make a mistake, you clean it up. You don’t follow the crowd. You think for yourself. You don’t say one thing and do another. You do the right thing even when no one is watching. Even when it is hard to do the right thing, you stand strong” (The Virtues Project) French Café We are looking forward to our annual French Café with Mdme Battler on Wed. May 3. During the seven days, families are encouraged to turn off the televisions, computer and video games and get moving. Even if you choose not to completely eliminate screen time, you may choose a goal like cutting it in half for the week. Climate Survey Please take a few minutes and fill out a school climate survey if you have not done so already. Surveys are completed in schools across Ontario and provide valuable information for our continued effort to prevent bullying and harassment. The survey can be found online at www.edu-climate-surveys.ca. The access code is 4-NHZ-617-B. Paper copies of the survey are also available at the school. The survey will be open until May 29. Class Placements for 2016-2017 Staffing and classroom organization discussions for next school year will be starting in early June. We put a lot of thought into creating classes that will set everybody up for as much success as possible. If there are exceptional circumstances regarding classroom placements that you think should be considered, please let us know no later than June 2. Class placements will be available on the first day of school in the fall. We do our best to avoid making any changes to classroom placements in Sept., however, it is always possible that changes will be necessary if our enrolment changes. Thank you. QSP Magazine Campaign We will continue to offer our QSP Magazine Campaign next year. If you have a magazine you would like to order or renew, please consider doing so through the school.
