For Returning Players: Please go to the CSL website ONLY. https://www.commonwealthsoccer.org
Returning players from Fall 2016 can click here and sign on to your account, select Register to
Play/Participate, select yourself, then Register Now, register, pay and select your team.
New Players or Returning Player who did not play in the Fall 2016: Will need to start by clicking here, or
copy and paste into address bar: https:/www.commonwealthsoccer.org then click on MDCVSA link or
http://mdcvsa.sportssignup.com and start setting up your MDCVSA account, pay the MDCVSA fee and
then follow over to the CSL site to complete the league registration and select your team. If you are a
NEW PLAYER to the league, please contact us before completing any registrations as we need to make
sure we can find you a spot on a team first. Please note: we are in the process of finalizing the structure
for the season and may have 2 divisions. We will keep you posted on that.
IMPORTANT NOTE: For the few old teams that use paper registration, you will be receiving forms and
instructions soon. Stay tuned for registration updates!
You may drop off all appropriate materials (See below) in the CSL Drop Box located at the Field House. It
MUST be in a sealed envelope with the team's name on it and the name of the person who dropped it
off. We ask that you notify the league if you are taking this option and notify us when you drop it off.
Sending an email the [email protected] will suffice.
DEPOSIT (Paper registration teams only): Teams must have their $500 deposit turned in by Sunday, 5
March 2017 to be put on the schedule.
TEAM REGISTRATION FORM: A completely filled out Team Registration Form is also due on 5 March
2017. If it is not, your team will not be considered registered **NO EXCEPTIONS**

ON_LINE ROSTER: The game day roster to meet Opening Game Day requirements is midnight 26 March
2017. No other player will be accepted to play after the deadline. Players registered after that date will
be eligible to play the following week.
Paper Registration Roster: are due on Sunday, 12 March 2017. The roster MUST be filled out in full with
full names and dates. If any information is missing from the roster, the player WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO
PLAY on Sunday, 2 April 2017. If a roster is not turned in by 12 March 2017, will be excluded from
opening day games Sunday, 2 April 2017, your team will not be considered registered. **NO
EXCEPTIONS** But may be considered for the next game.
Player registration deadlines for games will be the Friday prior to Sunday’s games.
FINAL ROSTER CHANGES: 30 April 2017. ******NO EXCEPTIONS*****
PAPER REGISTRATION TEAMS ONLY: THE ENTIRE TEAM FEE ($1,500 (20 player roster) or otherwise
based on the discounts earned during the Fall 2016 season): Due in full Sunday, 2 April 2017. If not PAID
IN FULL by this date, your team will be removed from the schedule. **NO EXCEPTIONS**
SPECIAL NOTES:
Players whose paperwork is not turned into the CSL Drop Box the Friday before a team’s next played
game, will not be added to your roster.
Players not on your roster, will not be allowed to play. It is the manager’s responsibility to check the
roster and notify the league of any errors by the given date in the email.
When dropping off paperwork or any fees in the CSL Drop Box, it MUST all be put in a sealed envelope
with the team name and the name of the person who dropped off the materials on the front. (Paper
registration teams only)
Close of business: Is whenever Fredericksburg Field House closes on the given due date.
Player passes are not required for CSL play, BUT a picture ID that also has a Date of Birth on it MUST be
used at pre-game check-in. If players do not have a picture ID, they will not be allowed to play (Player
Passes may still be made at a player’s/manager’s request). [A REMINDER: If your team or any of your
players plan to play in any MDCVSA or USASA tournaments, players passes ARE required for those
tournaments.]

Age Waiver Form (Any player under 18 is required to turn in before they will be allowed to play. Must be
notarized. If a player has already done one in a previous season for the CSL, that player does not have to
do another one for following seasons.)
