Do you wonder how you can help your baby learn
and grow? You will enjoy time interacting with
other families, learning from experts, and asking
any questions you may have.
Enjoy dinner and a chance to visit with other Eden Prairie families
who have infants. Share a story and play time with the children.
Leave with a free children’s book for your family and valuable
information about community activities/resources. Choose one of the
dates listed below.

FREE Baby Sign Language Class

Introduction to Baby Sign Language classes
are designed for children ages 6-12 months.
Parents and babies will learn basic signs in the
following themes: Meal time, Bed/Bath time,
Animals/Play time and Dressing signs. Parents
will be shown how to introduce and use
specific signs with their child on a daily basis.

FREE Parent Consultations
Are you wondering about your child’s growth
and development? Do you have questions about
feeding, sleeping, temperament or creating
balance for yourself as a parent of a new baby?
An experienced Family Center parent educator
will answer your questions and concerns. These
sessions are offered by appointment at the Early
Childhood Center, by phone, Skype, or in your
home. This confidential one-on-one
consultation is FREE to all Eden Prairie families
with children ages birth through 5 years.

This yoga class is about time with your baby and
learning some stretching, relaxing, and stress
reducing moves for you as a parent. No previous
yoga experience is necessary. Wear comfortable
clothes and bring a blanket for your family to
practice on.
The loving touch of parents not only comforts and
soothes infants, it also plays an important role in their
growth and development. Infant massage is a special
time for babies and their parents to get to know each other.
In addition, infant massage encourages deeper, longer
sleep patterns in babies, promotes attachment, enhances
growing and healing, relieves fussiness and colic, and
relieves the discomfort of reflux, teething and gas.
