INSTRUCTIONS LOGIC DRIVE. 1. Description. The LOGIC DRIVE is a system for automatically opening and closing of slatted pool covers. The winding and the unwinding of the cover is done by an electromotor. This is a combination of a planetary gearbox, a DC motor, a brake and a magnetic sensor, all built in a watertight housing. The motor can be delivered in 2 executions : LOGIC 180 IP68 12 V DC 14,4 A LOGIC 300 IP68 12 V DC 23,4 A 180 Nm 300 Nm 4,5 rpm 4,5 rpm The power and the control circuit of the system is done by an electronic print, built in a waterresistant housing. The control panel can be delivered in 1 execution : LOGIC BOX IP56 230 V AC 250 VA 12 V DC 15/25 A 2. Wiring diagram. Look further. If the motor is running into the fault direction, the wires to the connection block 1 and 2 of the print needed to be changed. 3. Specifications. 3.1. MAIN POWER FUSE Current 3.2. Programming. The programming of the open and the close limits of the cover is done by following the next procedure : Turn on the power with the main button. Push the PROG-button for 4 seconds. The green PROG-LED is on and the orange OPEN-LED and CLOSELED are flashing. Turn the key switch or the push the OPEN-buttons until the desired open limit has been reached. The green OPEN-LED is on. Confirm the open limit by pushing the PROG-button and the OPENbutton for 1 second. The green OPEN-LED is off and the orange OPEN-LED is on. Turn the key switch or the push the CLOSE-buttons until the desired close limit has been reached. The green CLOSE-LED is on. Confirm the close limit by pushing the PROG-button and the CLOSEbutton for 1 second. The green CLOSE-LED is off and the orange CLOSE-LED is on. 5. Operating. The LOGIC DRIVE can be operated by : - the key switch - the buttons on the touch pad - the buttons on the print The opening and the closing of the cover is done automatically when the key switch is turned at the side or the buttons are pushed. The movement is stopped by turning the key switch at the opposite side or by pushing the other buttons. The status of the LOGIC is indicated by LEDs on the print and the touch pad : - orange OPEN-LED : the cover has reached the open limit. - green OPEN-LED : the cover is opening. - orange CLOSE-LED : the cover has reached the close limit. - green CLOSE-LED : the cover is closing. 6. Errors. Error Signal Reset : overheating of the print. : red ERROR-LED flashes, green CLOSE-LED is on. : push the PROG-button after the print has cooled. Error Signal Reset : overheating of the motor. : red ERROR-LED flashes, orange CLOSE-LED is on. : wait for 5 minutes and then push the PROG-button. Error Signal Reset : passing the maximum operational time (10 min.) of the motor. : red ERROR-LED flashes, green OPEN-LED burns. : wait for 10 min. and then push the PROG-button. Error Signal Reset Remark : no signal from the magnetic sensor. : red ERROR-LED flashes, orange OPEN-LED is on. : push the PROG-button. : The cover can still be opened and closed by going back to the programming mode. Error Signal Reset : passing the maximum current of the motor. : red ERROR-LED flashes, green PROGRAM-LED is on. : push the PROG-button.
