Ka'oleioku was the main classroom building on the
preparatory part of the campus. It was dedicated in
the 1954 and came out to a cot of $321,555. It is a
two-story building and contains about 16 multi
purpose classrooms and contains stairwells at both
ends of the building. These classrooms on the 2
floors are used as 7th and 8th grade classrooms.
This building has total area of 18,700 square feet.
Problem:Suppose you wanted to put
up a banner on the second floor balcony
and the banner had to be only a 1/4 of the
entire balcony. How long can the banner be
if the balcony is 60 yds?

so, 1/4 of 60 is 15(mental Math)
Step 3: Answer it!!
So to be able to make the banner 1/4 of the balcony, the
banner would need to be 15 yds. long.
