YEARBOOK NOW!
We are pleased to have a CTS class working to
create a yearbook for our students, our first in
many years. This will be a 24 page colour
yearbook which will be ready for pick up before
the end of the school year. Order forms available
in the office but if you don’t have an order form
don’t worry. Send a sheet of paper with your
child’s name and homeroom with a payment of
$20, cash and cheque accepted (no post-dated
cheques please, make cheques out to Summitview
School) and indicate your method of payment on
your sheet. We may order a few extra but only
pre-ordered/pre-paid orders will be guaranteed a
yearbook. In order to guarantee your yearbook
orders must be in no later than 3:00pm on March
12. Some lunch and recess sales. Form included at
the end of ths newsletter as well.

Movie Fundraiser for our
School Beautification Fund!
Our Parent Council is still looking for fundraising
ideas for the replacement and renovation of our
playground. Your ideas are welcome; please
consider attending our next PAC meeting. We will
not be hosting a PAC meeting in March due to
Spring Break so please join us for our next
meeting on April 23 at 7:00pm.
We would also like to remind you to support our
PAC though FUNDSCRIP – you buy gift cards and
money goes to our school, consider using
FUNDSCRIP for gifts or even for items you might
buy anyway – we appreciate your support.

Our Grade 5 classes are pleased to host our
annual Spring Fling Dance! This will be on
Thursday March 26th from 6:30 – 9:00 pm, cost is
$5.00 for entry, bring money for concession

MARCH 19TH AT SUMMITVIEW SCHOOL
Please join us on Thursday March 19 to
celebrate the artistic side or our students.
We are pleased to host an Art Walk with
the support of our local Rotary Club. This
event is open to the public so please
attend. The art walk will be open from
5:00 – 7:00 pm.

Our Health and Wellness Team is pleased to
feature the GREAT BIG CRUNCH…watch for more
information. They will also continue to sell milk
at recess n Wednesdays.
Please join us the week of March 16 – 19 for
our Spring Scholastic Book Fair! Students will
attend during their regular library hours and
have an opportunity to purchase throughout
the school week. Mrs. Devoe will keep the
book fair open late on Thursday March 19 to
accommodate families who are attending
the Art Walk. Hope to see you there!
