WHAT IS INDIE GAME
• Indie game or independent game, usually is a game created without the financial
support of a publisher. They are individuals, small teams, or small independent
companies
• Most of indie game are small games. But always come out with a novel work.
ABOUT INDIE GAME AND CREATOR
• A group with under 10 people.
• Different with commercial games, the creator of indie games may not have income.
• Only a few indie games can be sold through physical store, mostly relying on lowercost digital downloads.
• CG and voice act are relatively small.
• By using development tools such as Game maker and unity save a lot of developer
time.
COMMUNITY
• Indie game developers can be involved with various indie game trade shows such as
Independent Games Festival and IndieCade.
