Congratulations : to our curates Anthony and Lance who were
ordained Priest yesterday. Thankyou to all who were able to share in
the service in Brecon Cathedral. Welcome to all who join us for their
special service here today. We especially welcome today our guest
preacher Fr. Mark.
From next Sunday Anthony will begin leading
services at Llangyfelach and Clase on Sunday and Thursday mornings
but will remain as our curate here in Morriston too. Lance will also
continue his work as the full time Hospital chaplaincy manger for the
ABMU trust whilst remaining as a Parish curate with us in St. David’s.

Thankyou : to all who braved the heat and joined us for our wonderful
concert last Sunday night. It was a fantastic evening. Thankyou to all
who took part in entertaining us.
Thankyou : to all who supported the recent coffee wrong for the Food
Bank. Nearly £200 was raised.

Holy Eucharist
Disaster Box : thankyou to all who regular out money into the disaster
box at the back of church. We have been able to send a cheque for
£500 to the victims of the London fire. Donations will remain open for
this cause for the coming weeks. Money to be sent should be placed
into the Disaster Box please.
Coffee Morning : on Saturday 8th July Nan Morris has kindly invited
us to her home for a coffee morning from 10 a.m. in aid of church
funds. Tickets now available and all are very welcome.
Sunday School Teachers : we will hold a quick meeting following the
morning service on Sunday 9th July. If anyone would like to come and
be part of our Sunday School you would be very welcome to join us.
Walking Treasure Hunt : around Morriston on the afternoon of
Sunday 16th July. All are welcome. The treasure hunt will end with a
meal. Please add your name to the list at the back of church if you
would like to take part. All are very welcome.
Happy Special Birthday : to Alan Demery for Wednesday this week.
Holidays : many of our church embers have now started taking their
summer holidays. Can I wish you all a refreshing break if you are going
away. It is the time of year when it is difficult to keep track on those
who are missing an those in need of visits - PLEASE HELP BY
KEEPING IN TOUCH WITH THSOE MISSING AND DO LET THE
CLERGY AND PASTORAL VISITING TEAM KNOW OF VISITS /
